About HBG City

In 2010, Helsingborgs Cityförening, Fastighetsägarna i city and Helsingborgs stad formed the company Helsingborg Citysamverkan AB (HBG City). The purpose of forming a joint company is to enable the parties to work together to strengthen the attractiveness of the city center.

The city center of the future

The strategy for the city center of the future was developed through workshops, surveys and in-depth interviews involving nearly 250 people. In 2023, the work of the Board was deepened and the strategy was refined. In the autumn, it was anchored with the owner groups and politicians. The Board adopted the new strategy at its last meeting of the year in December.

Our vision

Our little city, a place that everyone loves to visit, live and work in.

Our business concept

HBG City exists to increase the attractiveness of the city center by creating collaboration conditions for the owner groups, those who work in the city or have an interest in contributing to a more vibrant city.

HBG City runs collaborative location initiatives, projects and activities to create a safe, unique and attractive city center with increasing visitor flows that provide business opportunities for traders and property owners in the city center.

Together we are strong

The Organization

QM Quality Mark

In 2021, we were QM-certified by Svenska Stadskärnor and received a quality mark for our work. QUALITY MARK is a tool for a standardized label for collaborative organizations in the city. It is based on a European certification developed jointly by several countries in a collaboration called TOCEMA Europe (Town Center Management Europe). Svenska Stadskärnor was involved in this work and has developed a version for Swedish conditions that is offered to members of Svenska Stadskärnor. Holding a certificate shows that you work long-term, strategically, have clear goals and follow up the results, which leads to stability in the collaboration that creates the conditions for new investments in the city.
