Light show on the Terrace Stairs

By combining color-changing facade lighting with projected images and animations, an atmospheric experience is created against the historical background of Kärnan and Terrasstrapporna. On December 3 at 16.00 there will be a premiere screening of the light show. Together with The Vault Hotel, we will serve mulled wine and hot chocolate (while stocks last). After that, the light show will be shown until January 5 between 16.00 – 21.00 every day.

The light show “Everything has its time” has been built by Helsingborgs stad together with the light designer Kjell Åkerblom and Informationsteknik. The light show is about time and different experiences of it. In order to gain perspective on our own time, the light show moves us through different eras. This idea was part of the “Living City Center” project, which in 2009 aimed to create life and movement in the city’s spaces and, as here, find new qualities in existing urban spaces.
