The new concept HYGGE Restaurant & Bar will open in February at Sundstorget 5. The menu will consist of smørrebrød along with a selection from the warm Danish cuisine and of course the classic red sausage. For those who want “a beer and a little more”, smørrebrød includes a large selection of spiced spirits. HYGGE will also be the only restaurant in Helsingborg to serve Wiibroe Pilsner. The restaurant will also focus on today’s lunch, take away and catering to larger parties, as smørrebrød is just as suitable for mingling as an evening at home. Behind the concept is Mats Löhnn, with 45 years of experience in the industry in Helsingborg, Höganäs, Båstad, Sälen and Denmark, who is opening HYGGE Restaurant & Bar together with his son Joakim Hägg.
