Sports holidays in the city!
There’s lots of fun happening in the city during the sports holidays! Go to an ice disco, meet the ice princess Elsa and go to the theater. Warm up with a cup of chocolate in a cozy café and replenish your energy with a tasty lunch in the city.
Meet the ice princess Elsa
Tuesday, February 18, 11:00-13:00, Kullagatan
Children’s favorite ice princess Elsa visits the city during the sports holidays. She strolls along Kullagatan and says hello to all the children. Take a picture together or give her a big hug!
Ice disco
Saturday, February 22, 17:30-19:30 all ages and 19:30-21:30 for 13-25 years, Sundstorget
End the sports holidays with a skating disco on the ice rink! There will be a DJ and colorful disco lights. Bring your own skates or borrow them on site. A limited number of skates are available to borrow for free.

Experience the magical feeling of a midwinter wonderland as you glide across the ice under the open sky, surrounded by all the winter lights of the city. The ice rink is open until March 2. Helsingborg Hockey Club staffs the ice rink on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. In week 9, the ice rink will only be manned on Saturdays. During the manned times, you can rent skates and helmets on site. The ice rink is open around the clock for those with their own equipment.
Indoor activities for rainy days
When your toes are frozen after many laps on the ice rink or when the weather is not at its best, it can be fun to do something indoors. Here are a bunch of tips for fun indoor activities!
- Who can throw the most strikes in bowling? Or why not challenge each other to a tug-of-war at Pitcher’s?
- Bet on who puts the black first in billiards at O’Leary’s or Pitcher’s
- Shuffleboard challenge at Pitcher’s or O’Leary’s
- Cinema with popcorn on Red Mill or Filmstaden
- Test your teamwork skills with Escape Rooms at Breakout Sweden
- Experience something magical together at Dunkers kulturhus

Lovely Days at Fryshuset
At Fryshuset, it’s full steam ahead during the sports holiday. There will be cooking, dancing, yoga, movie night, music and lots of other fun.

Sportlov at Furutorp: Play & Joy with Hej Främling and Söderscen
Get ready for two fast-paced days full of play, movement and community! There will be an exciting mix of games and activities during Sportlovet. Whether you like classic outdoor games or want to try something new, there are plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself, laugh and have fun together. The barbecue is lit and there are refreshments to keep the heat and energy up! Both children and adults are welcome, so bring your family, friends or come alone – let’s play!

Sportlovsaktiviteter med Öppnna förskolan
There will be games on the playground at Furutorpsplatsen and fun activities to do with your children. Among other things, you can make leaf wreaths and value bracelets with a focus on the Convention on the Rights of the Child. You can bring your own seat cushions/blankets and your own coffee if you want. All families are welcome!
