Espresso House’s history dates back to 1996 when our very first coffee shop was opened by Charles and Elisabet Asker on Kyrkogatan in Lund. What started as a small coffee shop inspired by both the Italian coffee culture and the American coffee shop tradition, is today a leader in the Nordic region with over 460* coffee shops, 6000 baristas and 100 000 visitors daily. In October 2018, Espresso House opened its first coffee shop in Hamburg, Germany. Today we are spread across five countries; Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Germany.
