In Helsingborg, we work according to the Krogar mot Knark method and in 2024 we started work on certifying the restaurants in the city. In September 2025, the first pubs were certified. To be certified, the pub must have procedures and an action plan to prevent and counteract drug use in the pub, and the staff must have undergone relevant training on drugs and handling situations related to drug use. Certification is ongoing. Below is a list of the pubs that are currently certified. Also look out for the Hooks Against Drugs signs around town. Pubs that are certified have been given a sign to put up outside their establishment. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Drugs cost more than you think<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Drugs Cost More Than You Think is an awareness campaign highlighting the link between drug use and organized crime in the city. In recent years, several shootings and explosions have taken place in Helsingborg and a majority can be linked to criminal gangs. One of their main sources of income is drug sales. This means that drug money plays a major role in deadly conflicts.<\/p>

Together with Helsingborg’s pubs, the police and Helsingborgs stad, we highlight the link between drug use and violent crime. The campaign is a four-week awareness-raising effort that is shown on social media. The campaign Usla Urs\u00e4kter was part of the national work Krogar mot Knark. Usla Urs\u00e4kter was a national awareness-raising campaign that ran in 2023 and 2024, with Helsingborg being one of eleven cities that sent the message. Previous campaigns have often focused on highlighting the negative consequences of drug use for the individual, while Usla Urs\u00e4kter highlighted the consequences that affect others and are harder to excuse. Murder, funding of terrorist organizations, deforestation and child labour were part of the campaign’s message. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
