In Helsingborg, there is a strong focus on creating a vibrant, safe and attractive city center from both the city and the business community. We are working on several fronts and with different processes that are linked together. Purple Flag is part of this. <\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>

S\u00f6der is so much more than ‘just’ a place. It’s the feel, the smells, the sounds, the light, the buzz, the birds, the trees, the streets and most of all the people. <\/p>

It is you, together with everyone who lives, works, shops or moves around S\u00f6der that contributes to how the district is experienced. Whether it’s offering a smile, enjoying an outdoor caf\u00e9 or not littering, it’s all the little things that make a big difference together. <\/p>

Starting in 2019 and beyond, we have an extra focus on improving S\u00f6der. We are working on a broad front to increase well-being and safety here. This is done in collaboration between businesses, property owners, HBG City, the police, Helsingborgs stad and residents and visitors. <\/p>

For example, we have actively worked with presence through security guards, security hosts and S\u00f6derv\u00e4rdar, to improve the place by focusing completely, clean and tidy, activated residents, businesses, associations together with the city and HBG City in S\u00f6derdagen, worked with establishment strategies to strengthen the identity, created meeting places and worked with traffic issues, etc.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In October 2018, in connection with the certification of Helsingborg C, we started the Purple Flag work on S\u00f6der. There is a lot going on in S\u00f6der right now and the work with Purple Flag is part of the \u00c4lskade S\u00f6der place collaboration. In November 2020, we were certified for our action plan for the area and in November 2022, we were recertified for a new updated action plan. <\/p>
