When you have received a digital City Gift Card
Before you can start using your gift card, you need to activate it.
Activation is done by downloading the Cityplay app or clicking on the link to the gift card you have received. As soon as you have activated your code, you can start shopping with the gift card. You can shop for any amount and your balance will be updated after each purchase. Here you can see which businesses accept our digital gift card.
This is how it works:
1. download the Cityplay app or go to the gift card link you received.
2. Register and select Helsingborgs stad as your city.
3. Select the “Gift card button” available in the menu, then click on the “plus button” and add your voucher code. You can spend your gift card at the shops listed under the “Here your voucher code applies” tab.

Validity period 1 year.
You will receive a receipt valid for the business where you paid with the card. You will not get a refund.
No, City Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
