Family day in Oceanhamnen

Planning for this year’s Family Day in Oceanhamnen is in full swing. Here you will find the program for the day as it approaches.

On August 10, Oceanhamnen will be filled with laughter, music, movement and community – all in support of children and young people with type 1 diabetes. All proceeds from the activities will go to Barndiabetesfonden and Sockertoppen IF – to support research and camp activities for children with type 1 diabetes.

Type 1 Race

Welcome to Type 1 Lopp – Sweden’s shortest (and perhaps most fun) bridge race! Run across Varvsbron in Type 1 Lopp – a mini race with maximum atmosphere. All registration fees go in full to Barndiabetesfonden Skåne and Soockertoppen IF – for children, young people and their future. So while you run, you are contributing to a really good cause!

This is included in the registration fee: Starting place in Type 1 Race over Varvsbron, medal, functional t-shirt to sweat (and brag) in, free entry to the obstacle course of 750 meters, an ice cream, goodie bag from ICA Maxi, your number tag gives you a free ticket to any OV Helsingborg home match in conjunction with paying guardian.

Concert with Lisa Ajax & Pidde P

A stage will be set up in Henckels Square where we will see none other than Lisa Ajax and Pidde P! In addition, local child star Gabriel Thamhaksa will give a short performance. Helsingborg native and musician Pontus Assarsson will be the emcee for the day. The concerts are free of charge.

Type 1 Obstacle course

On Redaregatan, a 750 meter long obstacle course with giant, inflatable obstacles takes place. The highest obstacle is 9 meters high!

Helsingborg's superheroes

Meet the superheroes of Helsingborg! Take a picture and give them a hug or a high five. The superheroes are out for about half an hour at a time.

Time: 11.00-11.30, 12.00-12.30 and 13.00-13.30

Do you dare to go 70 meters straight up in the air? The view of Helsingborg from above is worth the tickle in your stomach when a crane takes you up over the rooftops.

Activity square

At the activity square outside Restaurant Brasseriet, you can get your face painted and make your own windmill. There you can also do fun activities together with Jumpyard.

Food trucks

Time to replenish your energy after a sprint across the Varvsbron and climbing over the obstacle course? On Henckels Square there are food trucks with lots of goodies.

Associations

In Dockanparken you can meet HHC, FCH, Allerum GIF, Hittarps IK, OV Helsingborg and Eskilsminne. Visit the associations’ tents and do challenges with a chance to win great prizes! For each challenge completed, you will receive a stamp and be entered into the draw.
