We are constantly working on projects in different forms and constellations. Some run for several years, others are quick initiatives. Some we start ourselves and some we get the opportunity to be part of with the city as the focus. City Awards
Every year we choose the shop, restaurant, café, salon, pub and newcomer of the year in Helsingborg city. We also award prizes to the service star, city star and property owner of the year. The winners are celebrated at a fantastic gala evening to which all members are invited.
Safe in the pub
Helsingborg city’s pubs are working together to create a safer pub environment and reduce the presence and use of drugs in pubs. We work with Krogar mot Knark, which is a national approach based on collaboration, training and effective enforcement.
City expertise
Citykompetens is a skills development project funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and run by HBG City. The project consists of trainings taking place over two years. The trainings will focus on five main topics: Leadership & Business Development, Digitalization & AI, Marketing & Up-selling, Sustainability & Circular Solutions, and Service & Attendance.
Accessibility in the city
Helsingborg city center should be a place for everyone. As part of the Citykompetens training project, HBG City’s member businesses will have the opportunity to learn how to best adapt their operations to accessibility. We want a vibrant, safe and attractive city center, which feels welcoming and invites to activity and stay. Since the fall of 2016, Purple Flag has been working together and through broad collaboration to create an equal, safe and attractive city with a varied range of activities for everyone, even after 17:00.
