The Red Mill was inaugurated on April 14, 1918. Today, films for all ages are shown here seven days a week all year round. Every Friday we open with several Swedish premieres. We also have live broadcasts from the biggest stages in the world, including opera performances from the Metropolitan in New York, theater performances from the National Theatre in London and ballet performances from the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. As much as we can, we also organize activities around our screenings. During the breaks of our live performances, we have mingling and dining with full rights, we invite guests such as directors and actors to selected performances, we organize premiere parties for the youngest, sometimes we run mingling with film quizzes and much more. At least once a year we also run an outdoor movie, usually together with HX, Helsingborg City Festival. In the foyer we also have a cozy cinema café in retro style.
