Our story began in 1976. It began with our founder, Anita Roddick, opening a small green shop in Brighton with a revolutionary belief: that one company can be a force for good. We’ve never been an ordinary cosmetics company, and with over 40 years of campaigning, changing and breaking industry standards in the beauty sector, we’re still just as active and driven.
