On June 6, Helsingborg city will be filled with music, joy and a festive atmosphere when Artist & Nöje Event invites you to a big National Day celebration in the middle of the city.

Harbor Festival

June 26-27
For two days, the Quay Promenade, Ångfärjeparken and Parapeten will be filled with live music, local flavors, boat tours and activities.

Bayside Festival is back in Helsingborg and offers two days filled with music, summer vibes and festival atmosphere by the sea.

The international food festival is back in the city with around 40 food stalls from 23 different countries.

During summer break, free activities for children, teens, and families are being held at Furutorpsplatsen in Helsingborg. There’s something for everyone here, whether you like sports, games, or dance, or just want to hang out with friends and try something new.

Bathing in the city

Helsingborg’s coastline offers something for everyone, with a mix of sandy beaches, grassy areas and piers, making it a popular destination for sunbathers and swimming enthusiasts alike.

Tropical Beach
In the middle of the city, palm trees sway and the beach bar offers cool drinks, good food and a great atmosphere. A smaller beach with a lovely foreign feel.

Gröningen
One of Helsingborg’s most popular gathering places in the summer. There are large grass areas and wooden decks right by the sea with four different jetties to the water and plenty of sun loungers. Grass or wooden deck, what do you prefer?

Free Baths
A stone’s throw away awaits a wide and long sandy beach with turquoise blue water. There are both beach restaurants and ice cream kiosks. Lots of sand, lots of space! Perfect for families with small children.

Jump high in the bouncy castle or try the climbing wall, ropeway and swings.

Do you dare to climb into a big shark hole? Or climb up a giant jellyfish and slide down the winding slide?

Climb with the monkeys and listen to the gorilla’s roar. At The Jungle Playground you will find all kinds of animals with lots of cool sounds!

Now you can jump, run and play in miniature forms of the famous landmarks of the South.

Dockanparken
In Dockanparken in Oceanhamnen you sit right by the sea with a view of the shipyard bridge and the harbor basin where the ferries come in. And The Jungle Playground is right next door!

Furutor Square
At Söder you will find Furutorpsplatsen, a large park perfect for activities! Combine a picnic with a game of kubb or challenge your friends to a football match.

Gröningen
Buy take-away from your favorite post-beach spot and sit on the grass or dock and enjoy the sunset over the Sound.

Margaretaplatsen
Margaretaplatsen is a great place to relax and play, with its large lawns and western location below Landborgen. Here you can lay out your blanket and enjoy the sun or sit quietly on a bench and look at the flower plantings.

Music Park
Musikparken is a leafy park with lots of greenery just off Södergatan. It is close to Mäster Palms plats and all the restaurants, which is perfect when you want to buy food and have a picnic in the park.

Slottshagen
Views of the city, entertainment in Grytan and Kärnan right next door, what more could you ask for when going on a picnic?

Stadsparken
In the center of the city you will find Stadsparken with proximity to lots of restaurants and cafes. In the park there are tables and chairs where you can enjoy a lovely lunch.

Vikingsberg Park
Vikingsbergsparken is still reminiscent of its origins: a privately owned park from the turn of the last century. There are playgrounds, a boules court, a pond, a fountain and beautiful flower rooms as well as large green areas – perfect for a picnic blanket with a view of Öresund.

Steam ferry park
Ångfärjeparken is the perfect picnic spot on a hot summer day. It is also close to several restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlors where you can buy goodies for your picnic.

Öresundsparken
Öresundsparken is partly located on the steep slope of the castle. Up on the plateau there is, among other things, a pond that is a remnant of the moat around Kärnan. has a lookout point and offers fantastic views of Helsingborg’s rooftops and Öresund. Öresundsparken

Experience Söder

Söderscen has loaded up with a packed summer program of activities at Furutorpsplatsen and Söderrummet at Gustav Adolfs torg. There will be dance, music, taster activities, crafts and lots of other fun!

This summer, we’re filling the city with lots of great music! Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, troubadours will be playing around the city to entertain and set the mood for our visitors and residents.
