Light show on the Terrace Stairs
December 2 – January 4
By combining color-changing facade lighting with projected images and animations, an atmospheric experience is created against the historical background of Kärnan and Terrasstrapporna. The light show will run every day from 16:00 to 21:00 until January 4.
The light show “Everything has its time” has been built by Helsingborgs stad together with the light designer Kjell Åkerblom and Informationsteknik. The light show is about time and different experiences of it. In order to gain perspective on our own time, the light show moves us through different eras. This idea was part of the “Living City Center” project, which in 2009 aimed to create life and movement in the city’s spaces and, as here, find new qualities in existing urban spaces.

Give the whole city as a Christmas present!
A city gift card gives the recipient the opportunity to easily take part in shopping, food, entertainment, salons, hotels, culture and experiences in Helsingborg.
Swish for a Wish
Throughout December, you can light the tree on Sundstorget by swishing a gift. The moment your swish goes off, the swish tree offers a sparkling surprise. And if you swish on Lucia, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, the tree will think it’s extra fun.
Every day, the deacons of the Church of Sweden meet families in need. The money raised through the Swish for a Wish campaign can be a bag of food, a pair of glasses, a fee for an after-school activity or something else that would otherwise not be possible for a family with children. Your gift will brighten and bring Christmas spirit to them and to our city.
Swish your gift via the code or to the number 123 568 1705.
If you can’t make it to the tree at Sundstorget to see your gift, you can watch the tree live from swishforawish.se
