Christmas Saturdays
Saturdays in December will be extra cozy until Christmas Eve. There will be live music, ice skating and of course Santa Claus will visit!

Take a fast-paced ride on the ice rink at Sundstorget! The ice rink is manned by Helsingborg Hockey Club Youth and during manned times you can rent skates and helmets. Read more about the ice rink’s opening hours and skate rental at the link below.
The Christmas train
Take the Christmas train between the North Pole (Sundstorget) and the South Pole (Mäster Palms plats). The train runs between 12.00-16.00. Click on the button below to read how the Christmas train works and see more dates.
Meet Santa Claus
Santa Claus is coming to the city! Come and meet him at Kullagatan and submit your wish list. If you’ve been good enough this year, your wishes might come true! Santa will be on site from 12.00-16.00.
Christmas choirs
Christmas tunes fill the city center. On Saturdays, you can hear the atmospheric tones of our traveling Christmas choirs, Öresound and After Eight, which go around the city and spread Christmas spirit.
December 6 – Öresound at 10.00-12.00
December 13 – Öresound at 10.00-12.00 and After Eight at 13.00-16.00.
December 20 – Öresound at 12.00-14.00 and After Eight at 13.00-16.00.
Christmas tree sale
The hunt for the perfect Christmas tree has begun! Thursday-Sunday during December there will be Christmas tree sales on Sundstorget. Buy your Christmas tree on Saturdays between 12.00-17.00.
The elves of Kullagatan
Kullagatan’s elves hand out candy to all good children during the weekends in the city. On Saturdays you can find them in town at 12.00-16.00.
Helsingborg Drumcorps
December 20, 13.00-13.45
Helsingborg Drumcorps marches through the city from Mäster Palms plats and ends with a grand concert at Stortorget.
Figure skating show
December 20, 12.00-12.20
The ice rink has opened for the season. At 12.00 there will be a fantastic figure skating show by IFK Helsingborg Konståkning.
More Christmas in the city!
There’s lots of fun happening in the city center throughout December. At Christmas in the City, we’ve gathered all the festive events taking place in the city center during December. How about Lucia celebrations, Christmas Saturdays and delicious Christmas dinners?
Helsingborg Fire Brigade Museum
December 13th
Helsingborg Fire Brigade Museum exhibits its collection of old fire engines in the city. On December 13 they will be at Mäster Palms plats from 12.00-15.00.
* Please note that it will be canceled in case of bad weather.
The Fire Brigade Museum has collections of fire engines from the early 1900s, including Helsingborg’s first fire engine from 1915 and another fire engine from 1925. There is also a steam sprayer from 1892 and other material about Helsingborg’s fire defense.
SöDER Gallerian
December 13th
On December 13, Santa will stop by from 12:00 to 15:00. There will also be Lego activities from 12:00 to 16:00, with a Lego garden, Santa’s Lego workshop, a gingerbread house competition with Lego, a car ramp, building puzzles and joint Christmas tree decorations with Lego. Between 12:00 and 15:00, you can donate a Christmas gift at the Salvation Army. Read more here.
Lucia celebration
December 13th
Mega Musik Gymnasieskola has been responsible for the Lucia parades in Helsingborg for a few years now. On December 13, they offer atmospheric Lucia performances. At 12.00 they will sing at Gustav Adolfs torg and at 15.00 at Konsul Olssons plats.
The Lucia performances are in collaboration with our city partner Fremlab.
Roasted almonds
On Saturdays in December until Christmas Eve, you can enjoy roasted almonds, which are sold on Kullagatan, outside Scorett from 10.00-16.00.
